The MSHSL has locked down on transfers.

I'm sure there are very few of any significant value.

Ive heard recently that Cooper and Columbia Heights have had some kids "move" into their districts, this year. And a funny coincidence here but the ones that "moved" to Columbia Heights, played on the same AAU team coached by CH's coach. Crazy how things like that workout. ;)

Go figure - they played for the same aau coach that is now coaching at CH? Have I heard this before? Time for a MSHSL investigation. Ya right, that will really happen!

I am sure Columbia Heights isnt the only school who got transfers based on AAU season. What about Minnesota Transitions or St. Bernard's? They seem to have someone new every year.

I would think there are probably more than a few schools that have benifitted from having coaches on AAU programs. I just stated CH, because thats the one i am aware for sure. and i know nothing will ever be done about it. Personally i think its funny that the state hs league has a no recruiting rule, but never enforces it. I would rather they do away with the rule and just let recruiting be legal because its stupid that a good majority of the coaches dont recruit and follow the rule and they are the ones hurt by it. Because its obvious that some coaches have found ways around the rule, which makes it at times a pretty uneven playing field.

Thats my two cents.

Several transfers in the central mn area. Rocori had Jonah Eisenschiek (not sure of correct spelling) transfer from St. John's Prep, St. Cloud Apollo has a former Holdingford player now on the roster 6'8" Kreigh and St. Cloud Tech has a Kimball transfer, a guard Nystrom.

Not too surprised on Eisenschenk.... His dad played for Brink at Rocori. I think he's a freshman so he is eligible right away
