Cousins Ajuda Alwall (adrian) and Adu Omot (worthington) are one of the fastest kids i have seen and also another fast kid Nickolas Pheifle from (SWC).

Mike Wiskow from Perham is an up and coming freshman who did very well in his first year of track. He will be a contender for state for sure in the upcoming years in the 200.

i would have to say holden olson from MLWR is one of the best. he was a sophmore last year and came in first or second at many meets. hes a great sprinter and has a chance at setting the school record as a junior. he could break it by a seccond at the pace hes moving at.

Don't forget that awe inspiring 55 yd dash he put on the 8th & 9th graders from WEM back on Nov 27th.

Please enlighten me as to the current MLWR record in the 100 or 200 (or whatever event Mr Olson runs), and how close he is to breaking it. Since Holden has never qualified for the state meet - and has never made the state honor roll [at least that I can see] - it's hard for us non-MLWR people to get a feel for how Holden is "one of the best". Can you supply one piece of verifiable evidence that Holden is one of the "Top sprinters in Minnesota", as the title of this thread is looking for?

Don't get me wrong - I'm sure Holden Olson is a fine kid, but when you spout out crap like this it is hard to take you serious. I'm impressed with your passion for your Rebels - but basically spamming every forum with this kind of crap is silly.

It is always interesting to see some of the times of the sprinters posted and recorded on the honor rolls. Often times it looks like a person has some serious speed, but guess what it was hand timed or there was a tail wind. I always look at the previous state meet as a pretty good indicator. Also, if you are not going to the state meet out of the weak 7A section as a sophmore you have some work to do before you are in the top group.
